The men of Sigma Phi Epsilon at Eastern Illinois University are proud to announce that Illinois Nu has been named the 2025 IFC Chapter of the Year. This recognition reflects a year of strong leadership, academic achievement, and meaningful involvement within the Fraternity and Sorority Life community.
Being named FSL Chapter of the Year represents the collective effort of the chapter throughout the academic year. This award recognizes excellence in programming, leadership development, service initiatives, and overall chapter operations. Illinois Nu is grateful for the continued support from the university and alumni who contribute to the chapter’s success.

Leadership and Individual Awards
Several brothers were also recognized for their individual contributions and leadership within Fraternity and Sorority Life. These honors reflect the dedication and accountability demonstrated by members of Illinois Nu.

Illinois Nu was also awarded FSL Program of the Year for the SigEp St. Jude Fun Run, recognizing the chapter’s philanthropic efforts and campus engagement.
Academic Achievement
Academics remained a strong focus for the chapter this year. Illinois Nu earned a 3.47 fraternity GPA, the highest among Greek Life organizations, with multiple brothers receiving Dean’s List honors. These accomplishments reflect the discipline and consistency shown by the chapter both in and out of the classroom.

Illinois Nu looks ahead with confidence as the chapter continues to build on this year’s momentum. The men of Sigma Phi Epsilon remain committed to growth, accountability, and representing the chapter with pride.
