Mission Statement
Enhancing the individual’s personal college experience, professionalism, and connections for each other, to leave a mark on the EIU campus and within ourselves that will resonate beyond our days in college.
Illinois Nu
The Illinois Nu chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon was founded at Eastern Illinois University on November 1, 1990 and chartered on November 22, 1992.
Since then, the chapter has accrued five Buchanan Cups from the National Headquarters honoring the best chapters across the country.
Our founders created the chapter behind the ideas of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love and becoming Balanced Men, and our brothers today will continue to strive to protect those ideals throughout our school, our community, and our fraternity.
Today, Illinois Nu carry out these principles day in and day out. Brought together by this idea of Virtue, Diligence, and Brotherly Love, this chapter has much to offer individuals whose values align with their own. Illinois Nu strives to leave a mark on the EIU campus by making the most out of their college experience, continuously working towards an overall better chapter, and influencing others around them.
